Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock adds an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although it will differ based the amount you use the mop.
budget robot vacuum requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station if needed.
This robot combo is easy to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the app). The mopping feature is pretty good as well, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a wide distance around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop setting and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always reach every last piece of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price even though it's not able to wipe your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
